The Clear My Curb Story
Hi, I’m the founder of Clear My Curb. Based right here in Union Grove, I started this business after seeing how difficult it was for neighbors to get rid of quality items responsibly.
Big national charities often have weeks-long wait times, and many local centers are overwhelmed. I realized there was a need for a faster, more transparent alternative—a service that treats your unwanted items like the treasures they once were.
Our Three-Way Mission:
- 1. Convenience for You: We handle the heavy lifting, the driving, and the sorting so you can reclaim your space.
- 2. Curated for Quality: We hand-select high-value finds for our online marketplace, Curb Collections, ensuring quality goods get a second life.
- 3. Direct Community Impact: Items that don’t fit our shop aren’t wasted. We gift them directly to local teachers, animal rescues, fundraisers and many community causes in SE Wisconsin. The community support we give is based on recommendations from you, our customer and neighbor.
Radical Transparency
Unlike massive corporations, we are a small, local operation. We don’t hide behind “non-profit” masks—we are a professional service that charges a fair fee for our labor, gas, and expertise. This allows us to guarantee a pickup time that works for you, while still giving back to the causes that matter in Racine and Kenosha Counties.

“That sound great, but why do you sell items you pickup?” Simple, this is a business. If items were brought straight to Goodwill or Salvation Army, they would be screened and many items would be sent to their own proprietary auction sites; thereby minimizing the local impact your donation has. We have years of experience selling online for fair and reasonable prices. We don’t focus on maximizing profit – we focus on giving our neighbors what they need, without insanely high markups.
